A used Chanel "shopping bag" $104,000 (with shipping)

Probably one of these eccentric Walmart shoppers is selling that shopping bag.

 

I love the blurb that goes with it: "Purchasing this item continues its narrative...." Is that the "narrative" that asks "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR EVERLOVING MIND???"

Of course, you can also buy the 1984 Pre-owned Chain-Link Crossbody Bottle Body Holder" for $10,308 so you can keep your designer water close to hand while slumming at Whole Foods.

I have to go back and look at that site when I have more time.....or money....LOL.
 
There is much I do not understand regarding the allure of brands. I guess it’s sort of like brainwashing? Brainwash the consumers to believe this is far superior to any other shopping basket.

I understand quality. Quality items do last for many years. Gold and silver can last for centuries, just like oil paintings can. So, I guess this is a shopping basket for the centuries?
 
My favorite painting fell off the wall in an earthquake and the canvas was ripped, mice have gnawed at the things I treasure. Gold rubs itself away with use, thieves make away with anything of value.
