I'm glad that here in NM we can renew our vehicle registration online, even if we need an emissions test. You just type in the magic numbers from the emissions test form, fill out the renewal form and you're good to go.
Oh, yes, the god old DMV. If I have any (personal) business at the DMV, I go there early, take a lunch with me and I don't make any other plans for that day. (Just kidding, of course.) If I have to go there on business, I can easily get in and out. However, with all of today's technology, I very seldom have to go there. Most everything that I need in now online.
If I need anything from them, personally, I use AAA.
