Today I ran into a friend who told me a story of her latest parcel from Amazon. Her daughter has been ordering small gifts for her upcoming birthday.
Yesterday’s was to be a jar of marmalade. Instead, it was an obviously reused marmalade jar and it held peppercorns and no marmalade.
Speculation on how this happens is worrisome. The vendor accidentally supplied the wrong thing? Somebody in Amazon exchanged it?
Pretty scary to think that a food item could be opened and contaminated.
The daughter was contacting Amazon.
