Watched a crowd of old folks in Kowloon perform tai chi in a park one Y2K morning.

Quite the art

My brother and his wife "play" Tai-Chi. I am pretty sure that is what they call it, when they do tournaments. I had a lesson or two. Cool stuff. Very much about your core and balance. Their teacher was a Kung-fu, Wu Su teacher. Got older had some back problems and switched to teaching Tai-Chi, also Wu Su form.

All that ancient stuff? Just seems they really knew what they were doing...

My brother started out with classic Judo when he was a kid.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have trained in that stuff. Just the right mind set for getting through life. Be tough as nails, but humble, respectful, quiet.
