I've seen that too... of American Malls.. As far as I'm aware we don't have abandoned Malls here...ours are very much filled with shops and shoppers

Abandoned cities is science fiction to me. There will always be a New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas. New Orleans, Detroit etc.

well in the great scheme of things, they haven't been there very long... most people in the rest of the world were shopping, working, living, and going about their business before those places existed, and they can disappear just as quickly...

I saw that show also. There was one that showed what our world would look like without us. It gave me hope for our earth. The documentaries were really well researched and filmed. They were very interesting.

This was a much watched show in the UK at the time of release (I'm thinking it was on BBC).

It's amazing how out footprints are quickly erased. Eventually it's all dust.

Come to think of it, it's wild to think that this rock we're living on has a finite life of its own. Sure, it's billions of years from now, but still...... everything we've ever known as a species, every animal, plant, and building, will someday be returned to the Cosmos.

Lots of places will turn into deserts, others just trash and decayed human detritus....imo....only the strongest most cunning animals will survive....lots of species will die due to
