That's going to be a tough call-when to go back to work. We are loosing money. We could all stay home till we are virus free. But that would bring about the economic downfall of the nation. On the other hand, we could go back to work before the virus is irradiated, but that would mean more people, who are infected, and more deaths. I'm not sure where the line should be drawn. I don't think anybody knows.
Lots of people are still working in the larger companies and buying stuff. A house one block over from me sold in two weeks.
The open stores here are very busy and smaller stores are starting to reopen. Itās the service industry that suffers mostly. I see help wanted/needed signs all over. While it will take a while the economy might be better, actually. Hopefully companies will move back to the US.
I think we're headed for another depression like 1932. In the last super pandemic to hit the U.S. back in 1918-1919, businesses didn't close. We may save more lives this time around by closing everything, but will those lives saved be grateful to have been saved is my question. If we keep people alive just so they can spend the rest of their days in a tent under a bridge is that any better?

I will choose life in a tent verses death any day. Would I have to live in that tent the rest of my life? I don't know do you? Situations change and it may be 6 weeks or months in a tent then in a home or rv somewhere. At least I'd be alive to try and better my situation verses dead..
