Acrylic Painting by Me

Hey Everybody: I did this in acrylic with ink with a painting from a class, I enjoyed painting and especially the background. I have been painting for a while now and I also love watercolor also I sketch. IMG_20240713_162735352 (1).jpglove the Dollar Stores, and Amazon they have reasonable art supplies. So glad, Canvases can be costly but worth it. Lots of hugs to you all. What are some of your hobbies?

That is GORGEOUS, @cherylpamela66 , and I love the colors, too ! I used to draw, but have not done so for a long time now and lost most of the knack for drawing and painting, but I have the Pigment coloring app on my iPad, and I really enjoy that. It has so many different ways to color, like oil paint, water color, pastel, and more, and i do not have to draw the picture, just paint it.
It really relaxes me, and i color every night before i go to bed and it just puts my whole mind in a good place to go to sleep.
They have ones that are simple to paint and ones that take more time, so I can do whichever fits my mood. I think that some sort of art hobby is good for a person, whatever it is.

I have found that I can use acrylic paints on my older t-shirts, where the design is starting to fade, but the shirt is still good. I put something hard , like a cutting board, underneath, to hold the t-shirt in place, and then paint over the design that was already on the shirt.
We also have some old lawn ornaments that I need to repaint this winter, too, so they will look new for next summer.
I just get the cheap acrylic paints from Walmart or Amazon, and that works for what I am doing.

Thank you for your positive feedback everybody so much appreciated. I have bombed on some paintings too, loll but that is the way it is with Art as some of you know. I do love crochet, and knitting also and am learning this. I love doing granny squares also it's a nice stress relief. Lots of love and hugs to you guys this is such a nice Senior Forum!

This is awesome, I love Color Art also we all have talent in something :) took me awhile too. Hugs!
