Active ice storm warning

Any body else expecting an ice storm? Last time we had one here the power was out for a few days and lots of tree limbs on the roads. I am stocked up and plan to keep warm.

Oldpop, I sympathize with you. I fear ice storms more than snowstorms. Yeah, had a bad one about 20 years ago. The power was out for 5 days, and you were stuck m where you were. The roads were impassable due to falling trees, limbs, downed power lines, and glass like roadways.

Thanks for the replies. It's all good right now. Everything is covered in a glaze of ice. It is not supposed to last to long. It should be out of here tomorrow morning. If the power goes out I have a fireplace for warmth and cooking if necessary. The last time we had an ice storm I could here trees in the woods snapping off limbs for hours. It sounded like it was in slow motion. Definitely an odd sound. I have cleared the trees that were close enough to the house to cause damage.
