they are a bluddy menace those motorised scooters... kids as young as 11 or 12 are riding them 2 aboard.. and going as fast as a car too...

The DM did a piece on the scooter issue in NYC in general. I've experienced being winged, whizzed, nicked or scuffed by the scooterer. Just last week some guy had a single wheel skateboard/scooter and almost knocked me down.

There must be surveillance video of the accident. I'd bet the perpetrator's days are numbered.

There needs to be a law against riding motorized vehicles on the sidewalk.

There is, at least here & probably in most areas. But riders don't pay attention.
If someone knocks me down with a scooter, they better hope I can't get up.
