TV actress, Markie POst died yesterday after a 10 month battle with cancer,she was 70
Her best known TV roles were:
"Christine Sullivan' public defender in NBC sitcom'Night Court' '85-'92
"Georgie Hartman' in CBS sitcom,'Hearts Afire' '92-'95
In movie' Something About Mary'98,she played Cameron Diaz's mother
Markie is the 2nd actor from Night Court who has died this yr. Charlie Robinson who played 'Mac' the court clerk died last month. John Larroquette, Richard Moll, Marsha Winfield are remaining cast members still alive

Can't imagine battling cancer for ten months. My friend shot himself to death when he was diagnosed with cancer after watching his roommate suffer with cancer.
