Adorable Malamute/Husky Puppy Howling

Schnauzers are great singers. Everyone I've had picked up on the singing right away. All I have to do is say to the Gangstas, "Lets sing!! and they immediately break out into a synchronized howl that puts they coyotes to shame. One sings high soprano, one second soprano and one sings alto. They're great party fun..lol

I had an Alaskan Malamute that was big on warbling and howling. My Schnauzer now chimes in nicely when encouraged to howl and talk to us. When my cell phone rings, it sets him off right away...sounds so cute. We had 3 at once too OG, and my hubby would softly blow a duck call to get them all started, funny little trios aren't they? :p

Make the most of it while you can blame Christmas Phants.

That pup may seem funny now but glad I don't live near a full sized one warbling at 3am.

Belle sings and yodels at anything that moves. The pitch rises with the level of interest she takes in it and something really out of the ordinary elicits her own special high C note that makes your ears ring. It's like a fingernail on a blackboard and is her only real fault. She has to wind up a bit to get it out so if I see her clenching her butt and dropping her back end to get the front noise unit higher I yell at her to put her off stride.
I swear that sound must carry for miles and would get her 'shot' by the neighbours if I let her do it at night. I think I'd prefer a long howl, she doesn't do that at all. The border collie up the hill does a fair dingo imitation though.
