After images in eye

Yes, often, its something I noticed as a child. As a child, I used to deliberately make it happen.

Update, just found this explanation:
"When you look at something for a long time, particularly if it's something bright, the photoreceptors in your eyes (rods and cones) become overstimulated. If you then look away or close your eyes, the overstimulated photoreceptors can give you a sort of "negative" version of the image. For example, if you were looking at a bright white screen, you might see a dark, reversed image when you close your eyes.

It’s not usually a sign of any medical issue—it’s just a quirk of how your eyes and brain process light and contrast. However, if the afterimages persist for a long time or seem abnormal, it could be worth checking with an eye care professional just to rule out other causes.
