Besides the big age milestones of the country in which you live, age is irrelevant.

In America, you can drive at 16, vote at 18 and drink alcohol at 21 - but besides these milestones I suggest that age is merely an anniversary of the day you were born. I know people who are old at 40 and still young into their 70s or 80s.

It's all about mindset, which is more powerful than a category 5 hurricane.

So, as one brilliant advertiser penned, "Stay thirsty my friends."

I don't agree with those " I'm still young" geezers. From the second you were a fertilized egg, you have been changing, according to your DNA. So, you've been aging since the moment you were born. The fact is we, all, are going to get old and worn out at some point. The idea that we will always be 'young at heart' and vigorous is a wish that cannot be fulfilled. When was the last time a 93 year old won a marathon? Being eternally youthful is not something that's in the cards. We can't regret the youth we lost, or try to live in a Neverland, where no one gets old; but we must concentrate on what we can do, now.
