I will be 93 in May, if I live that long, and I can honestly say that in all my nine decades on this earth I have NEVER known my country to be in such a mess. It was bad enough when WW2 started and we were not really prepared for it but we got through with the help of other nations but in today's world and lingo I can only say that so called Great Britain is in one big balls up.

At 57, I kinda get along with every age demographic...love children...I like Millennials...love learning from my elders.

Many people are good with Geography, others Math...others English, etc. I remember most every funny incident that has occurred in my lifetime. I also have a great recall for corny jokes. This has always kept me in good stead in conversations. I can usually turn any chat into a humorous anecdote.

I'm terrible with directions though, and I get lost driving in a circle. I always take my daughters with me on road trips to help me navigate. It really feels like I was 25 a few weeks ago. I still have the mindset of a guy in his 20's with the bonus of half a Century of life experience.

That's because you straddle the Baby Boomer and GenX generations, just like my partner who is 57. He also has the mindset of someone in his 20's. Not a bad thing!

78 in November. King Charles will turn 75 the same day (the 14th). One of my poker buddies also has the same birthday. He will be 98 on that day. The average age in my retirement community is well over 80 (and yes single (mostly widowed) women well outnumber us men be a lot)!

How perceptive of R. Dean Taylor, there really is a ghost in my house. We have a full length dress mirror, that's where the ghost lives. Passing the mirror the other day I saw him, wrinkled old fellow, seems harmless enough, though he does have a strange penchant for copying my mode of dress. Think I might get dressed in the toilet in future.
