Airplane Training pilot passes out at controls and first time student lands plane safely

That’s great to read. Even when I was at the controls for the first time with my instructor sitting next to me, I was very nervous, so I can only imagine his emotions. But, according to the controllers, he did a great job.

According to newspaper reports, the pilot was stricken with a tear in his aorta. He’s lucky to have survived.
