I've been eavesdropping for the most part, although I did respond to one forum board. I joined a few forums trying to find my niche and this one seems like a keeper. I moved to a new town a year ago and making friends is proving to be a challenge. I'm a substitute teacher so the people who like me most are shorter than me. I'm renovating a fixer-upper house, adopted a rescue dog, have a daughter who works at a major university, a granddaughter who calls me her best friend, and a son in law that I tolerate. I write and review books, as well as blog the crap out of the Internet. I might not actually have time for friends now that I type all that... interesting. :unsure:

Thanks for sharing yourself with us. You are the type that makes the world turn. If everyone kept this busy, the world would be a better place. I know to you; it is not a big deal.... but it is! Friends are hard to find, especially when your real busy. But, I bet in time, you will find a person who will be a good friend, it just takes time...
