One of the biggest crushes of my childhood, this gorgeous man. I first saw him in "Purple Noon" in 1960. My dad would get free tickets to an "art" theater as he re-upholstered their seats. So, I was 10 or 11 at my first encounter with this talented, extraordinary man.

I saw Purple Noon "Plein Soleil" in French, with English subtitles, which I had no problems with. In fact, it thrilled me I could read it so fast & well and hear their actual voices. No dubbing.

He was a hunk.....good looking with a dash of "bad boy" and a hint of "you'll never have me but you can hope" thrown in.

I absolutely loved Alain Delon and enjoyed his work. He was easy on the eyes and a very talented actor. May he rest in peace.
