Alerts!

I am recently getting multiple repeat Alerts up to 9 from Members who post referring to my input. I had 23 Alerts this morning and some multiples.

Is there an option for me to clear my Alert box of Alerts once read as I go along?
 
Hi .Just looked in my Profile Preferences and saw Alerts and option to see them and this has been in place with a tick but see there'6s a box along side it that sais Push and dont know what that means so left it inplace..

I wantto keep my Alerts so as ot to miss posts and comments so left the Alert box ticked

I don't think Push notifications mean anything much on this forum but I'm sure @Matrix or @SeaBreeze will clarify...

Yes if you wish to stop receiving notifications and alerts then ..

Click on your name

Click preferences, then choose your options there for anything you don't wish to receive ..

Also... at the top of each reply box in every thread you are ''watching'' or have participated in, there's a box where you can tick ''unwatch'' and that will prevent you getting alerts for threads you no longer participate or have any interest., , rather than blocking all in preferences..

Hi Holly D, thank you for your help. Its only the multiple repeat Alerts ive recently started getting from Members. I like Alerts as I like to pop in and out of the Threads I participate in. Will see how it goes after a couple of alterations in my Preferences
