Alex Trebek is back! Season 36

“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek has finished chemotherapy and is back to work, just 5 months after revealing his pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

“I’ve gone through a lot of chemotherapy, and thankfully that is now over. I’m on the mend, and that’s all I can hope for right now,” Trebek said in a video released by “Jeopardy!” before the new season starts this month.

While most people who’ve gone through cancer treatment aren’t game show hosts, Trebek’s experience shows that people with cancer can still thrive in the workplace.

It depends on how aggressive the cancer is. That also has much more to do with the outcome than "Early Diagnosis."
Everyone with cancer is doing great - if the cancer doesn't come back. Like many diseases, the word "Cancer" covers many illnesses - from practically harmless & requiring no treatment to deadly & everything in between.

I'm glad to see that Trebek is recovering nicely. Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune are about the only 2 TV shows that I try to watch regularly.
