Alex Trebek's Birthday is Today. Brain Surgery Update

After having 2 heart attacks in 2007 and 2008, brain surgery to remove blood clots caused by a fall in 2017, and doing over 7,000 Jeopardy shows that started in 1984....Alex Trebek is celebrating his 78th birthday today July 22.

He took a leave from Jeopardy on January 4 2018 to recover from the brain surgery.

Prognosis is excellent. He taped his progress in the Jeopardy studio below:

Interesting to note is that he became an American citizen in 1998. His philanthropy has been divided generously between the 2 countries but mostly Canada I think. He has promoted education in Canada and traveled with World Vision Canada to other countries. Here in America he entertained the USO and donated millions to the conservancy of Santa Monica Hills around Hollywood.
