Social media sites have decided I like tying scarves. I must have hesitated on one once.

I must need to learn to parallel park.

Folding clothes.

Decor in small homes. They show me mansions too.

Now I watch them all. I must really need those about folding clothes; I watch every one.

OK...that's all I need to know. Now they've shown you how to decorate a mansion, I'll let you decorate mine ..:p:D

On most social media sites you can block any messages and the sender. That is what I do...it eventually gets what I want to see. It still sneaks in all kinds of things, and I just block them for good.

Every so often I have to reload FB to do a refresh.

FB and my ‘FB Friends’ content have become more and more annoying to me over time.

How did we ever manage, growing up in the 60s and 70s without iPhones, social media, etc…

These aren’t ads. Just things or topics that FB, etc think will be of interest to me.
Yes, FB is scandalous for mining your every whim, and if you visit FB on a cellphone I swear that they listen to your every spoken word, even if you go to the trouble of wading into all the confusing settings(both on the phone and FB) to disable access to the phones microphone.

Oh, ok, I'm not on Fb so not familiar with how they do things. One of my favorite authors, Jenny Lawson, used to list the weird things that the internet recommended to her, really funny sometimes.

Whatever I looked at. I get Microsoft start as my home screen when I get on the internet and it's full of stupid click bait. Just don't click on it.

I've looked at something on Etsy and it comes up as an advertisement someplace else. They really are tracking.

I found most of these items do NOT get me .... ever have shows we think you will like 10 out of 10 were wrong.....
the AI that tries to suggest help with emails at work often would make me sound illiterate if i used their suggestions.

i do not online shop much but they do try to guess based on articles or such i might read.
