All Potatoes Are Not Equal

I recently bought the best potatoes I've ever had. I got them at WINCO Foods. I baked some, used leftover baked potatoes to cut into wedges and just reheated in the microwave with some garlic powder and salt. They were as good as any french fries but with no fat. I hope I can find them again. WINCO can carry something and then carry some other brand. I'm going to continue to look for these.

You're very right. Potatoes come in a large number of varieties and some are better than others for certain dishes. We have different ones to you, and even these vary from one part of UK to another. We grow our own 'Kestrel' and 'Jazzy' potatoes and buy 'Kerrs Pink' and 'Wilja' from a local grower.
