Bill Boggs was an old friend who I knew from another senior forum, once posted about seeing and later riding the Texas Zephyr Train when he was a younger boy & man. I thought I have saved that post, but have not been successful in finding it. Here is a video.
He wrote about how he had always waved at the engineer....and when he was an older man, had rode aboard it, where he had returned the wave of another boy along the tracks. He had come full circle. Maybe someone who reads this might remember that post, and add more...
