All Things Relating to Christmas

Anybody else save old cards for decoration. I keep a stack of the nicest ones to display on the mantle.
Most are older since I dont get many new ones now.

I keep thinking of making some Christmas card baskets but I havent managed it yet. I do have some from
auction.

since I have gotten so many beautiful Christmas cards over the years that I've saved, for a while I thought about using them for a craft where they're used to make paper "lanterns" to hang up at Christmas. The lanterns looked beautiful but I knew I'd never get around to trying it so I got rid of the cards.

My great-aunt repurposed Christmas cards. A great many were made into gift tags. I kept a few (mostly depicting cats) to use as ornaments.

I understand. I have a lot of round to its myself. I keep saying I will make some Christmas baskets but I never do.
Like I need more stuff to sit out. LOL.

I have my stash sitting on the mantle in the living room. If I get a new one I like better I get rid of one of the existing ones.
If I get a visitor they think how popular I am since I get a ton of cards. :D
