opps i was going to say the least computer savvy person we all know and as you can tell by this post i wasn't sure exactly where to post. okay so about 27 years ago we moved here from long island. here because it was cheaper than l.i. and i had to be near the beaches. now i sit alone - the last time i was with anyone that loved me was last christmas. my husband passed almost 2 years ago and here i sit waiting out the virus. heavy sigh. i know it will be my pleasure to get to know the layout here and meet all of you. it will take time since am a putz!

There is lots to do and talk about here! Welcome. You may even find some new friends that live nearby!
I grew up in Delaware but at the very top. Its not a bad place to be. I hope you're enjoying the coast. We left our kids behind and moved to (3 yrs ago) to be near the coast but the closest we could get is about 10 miles as the crow flies. However, we've been embraced by the community and all the groups we've joined. It can take some time to reach out. Lots of ideas here!

Your name reminded me of the old saying "Mary Mary, quite contrary" but I'm sure that was a different Mary.

I love the Delmarva Peninsula. Traveled there often in younger days.

Welcome aboard and there is no need to worry about being a putz, we specialize in that area and I am one of them.
I suspect that you will enjoy this site as there are many, many interesting people here.
 
Welcome, I'm sorry to hear you're alone. There are a lot of great people here. I know that isn't the same as being with someone but hopefully it will help you get rid of a little bit of the loneliness.
 
Mary, I was going to say there are no putzes here. Either that or we are all putzes here. Whatever, you are most welcome. Tell us what you like to talk about and someone here is bound to know something about it.

Believe me, Tony, as much as I love Canada's true four-seasons, I could easily do without winter. never was that way when I was younger, but it's funny how reality settles in when one get's older. :)

What part of BC did you visit?
