Although the Sit and Be Fit™ program is a wonderful system of exercise for seniors in its own right, at times it can fall short of the mark. Personal levels and ideals of fitness vary from individual to individual and cannot be properly addressed with a single program.
To remedy this shortfall I’ve taken the liberty of suggesting the following programs. As with any exercise it would be wise to consult with your physician before starting.

- Sit and Be Fat: this program takes the less-traveled path, suggesting the intake of fattening foods as you sit
- Sit and Nit-Pick: a favorite of crotchety old people, you sit in a chair and find fault with people
- Sit and Be Sick: a wonderful program for hypochondriacs – sit and let everyone know how close to death's door you really are
- Sit and Spit: for those seniors who enjoy their chaw
- Sit and Get Lit: a bottle of Jack Daniels and a chair is all you need in this program
- Sit for a Bit: a simple exercise involving sitting for a while, then getting up and actually DOING something
- Sit & then Git: a variation of Sit for a Bit, specially worded for Southern seniors
- Sit and Take a Hit: for medical marijuana users
- Sit and Quit: whatever you’re doing, you’ll have time to sit down and quit
- Sit and Be a Wit: you’ll be a HIT when you sit and be a wit
