So I pulled into the driveway and started unloading all the groceries,3 trips and like 45 bags of food.Im putting all this stuff away when the grand daughter walks in 1/2 hr later and says "Papa you left the headlights on" so on the way out to the car Im thinking hmmmm those headlight only stay on if the motor is running.
Dammit!!! I left the keys in the ignition ON and the interior of the car is like 30 degrees since the A/C is still running too.
So have any of you guy done this too?

It happens...just don't try it in an interior garage with the door closed.

Not that particular thing Davey, but other stuff. Sometimes we're in too much of a hurry, multi-tasking, or just too much on our plate for that day. Good thing your granddaughter is observant, lots of kids wouldn't even have noticed.

There are probably some who would have tried to drive it!

My sister (3 years my senior) and her younger sister-in-law went to see the movie 'Thor'. The SIL drove her car and after parking it somehow left the keys in the ignition and the car running. 2 hours later they came out and discovered the still running car. It was parked on a main street parking slot and no passby paid any attention to it.

No it wasn't my wife, I don't think I could afford the amount of gas that was used. The town they live in is a small bedroom community with little crime. Lucky for them because the car was a late model Cadillac. Yes the SIL has more money than sense.

Kidding..I didnt have THAT many,it just seems like it. In and in ,in and out to the car.

Those plastic bags that they give you at the store are pretty small these days. And many times only 2-3 items in a bag, so it seems like a ton of bags, and after everything is taken out, you still end up with nothing .. .. but a lot of money spent. :D

You got that right...I have to keep telling that bagger to "fill it up" but the good thing is I reuse those bags to refill with cats(4) poop.
One time the bag had a hole on the bottom that I didnt notice...well you know what happened.;)

Well, here's one for ya...! Several weeks ago, I put two eggs on to boil so I can use them to make tuna salad later on in the day. I took my netbook, walked to Starbucks (right across the street) and started yakking with friends when like a bolt out of the blue, I screamed (literally) OH MY GOD!!...making everyone jump... I told my friends about the eggs...The said, Just Go!We will watch your stuff...and I went home.
Well, one egg 'exploded' the other was a mess...and I pretty well ruined the Teflon pan...:(
I did not have tuna salad that evening....:distrust:
