I tried Twitter. Nope, not for me. I have a relative who tweets constantly. What she's doing.....where she's going...….what she's eating....what she's drinking.....what she's thinking...… Of course, she does that on Facebook, too.

I'm a social guy, and a tech fan but I've become disenchanted with social Media's ability to turn millions of [otherwise normal] people into misinformed, raging lunatics.

There was a time when I was concerned that Anonymous(activist/hacktivist collective/movement ) would "take down" the entire Internet, nowadays I would welcome that.

I am on Twitter to follow some individual actors and actresses, some local and international news (like deaths of well known celebrities, some relatives. I am not on it anymore than I am here especially when I have lots of time on my hands.

I've never wanted to open accounts for Twitter,Facebook,Instagram etc
If I want to get in contact with friends or family its either by phone,email or 'zoom'.Once in awhile depending on the situation,I'll write a letter which I did couple days ago to a friend I haven't talked to in awhile
