Amazon Credit Card?! A Rant

It's your choice, most likely unlimited credit depending on your income and ratings.
I buy a lot of stuff that I chose not to drive all over a 100 mile circle of City to find.
I choose not to endure the impulse buy stands of stuff in every isle, no room for 2
shoppers carts to go in. Sort of sick of it all in the Store impulse buy form of business,
Plus they keep moving the stuff you want to buy.

Yea investment owned groups of pricks; ..... U R Fired!

Amazon frickin' Prime now has commercials. And not just at the beginning. Now they're interrupting the movies in the middle with commercials.

How much frickin' money does Bezos need, for craps sake!

How many times has the Donald declared bankruptcy? 6X, chapter 11's?

Love him or hate him he has created 1,500,000 jobs around the world.

That generates a lot of payroll taxes and buys a lot of groceries.

I love billionaires.
And anyone know the estimate of how many people lost their jobs because of him? How many small businesses are gone that provided a higher standard of living for their owners, employees, and their communitites.

IMO the small mom and pop businesses on Main Street closed their doors because consumers chose to patronize Amazon, Walmart, etc…

The people choose the winners and losers.

I wasn't asking the why, I was curious about the other side of the equation. Jobs created vs jobs lost. Tax revenues, especially on the local level, that sort of thing. I did a quick search just to have an idea, but what I get from search engines is so curated all I could generate was layoffs at Amazon.

I have a friend who was a hardware store owner and he would tell me why he carried certain things. His favorite example was about switches and electrical plugs. He had them in bulk and on cards hanging up right above the bins. The bulk we're less than half the price of the packaged, but that is what most people would choose even after he told them the only difference was the packaging.

I don't know the psychology behind that. If it costs more it must be better?

The thing that I miss is the wealth of knowledge that was available in those mom and pop establishments.

I suppose that YouTube is the modern day equivalent. 🤔

We have an Amazon credit card...you get 5% for everything you buy on Amazon. So, we check the prices and buy what we are saving money on from driving and buying at a store. So what's not to like already?! I agree with you Aunt Be and refuse to be jealous of someone that is smarter, better looking, more talented or richer than me.

Trump has never himself declared bankruptcy. 6 of the companies he has started have, and a few others have failed. That's out of about 500 companies that are a part of The Trump Organization. Google is your friend
The people is stupid and there are a lot of them.
Gee, I think almost everyone on here is people. Maybe even you. Hmmm.
