Amazon Customer reviews - a question.

Do Amazon customer reviews still exist or am I living in the past here? I haven't bought much at Amazon in years but they were always my go to site for the best customer reviews on just about anything. When I've been there recently I can find info on the product I have in mind, an ingredients list etc., but there is not a single customer review on it or anything else anymore. Seems a shame. :(

Pi AI :

Amazon customer reviews are still very much a thing! In fact, Amazon continues to encourage customers to share their honest opinions about products through their review system. You can find customer reviews by scrolling down on a product page to the "Customer Reviews" section.
It's possible that you may have been looking at a product that didn't have any reviews yet, or maybe there was a technical issue preventing you from seeing them. If you're having trouble finding reviews on a specific product, you could try searching for the product on another site, or reaching out to Amazon customer support for assistance.
Overall, customer reviews remain an important part of the Amazon shopping experience, and can provide valuable insights for other customers considering a purchase.

If you look for the product you wish to purchase, there are stars listed next to the product name. If you click on those it will take you straight to customer reviews. Also, if you make a purchase, just go into your orders/return section and click on the stars and it will bring up reviews and there's a little box off to the side that says "write a review."

Per your instructions, I did find it and a lot of reviews as this product has been around for over 20 years. It's not something I'm going to purchase thanks to the helpful reviews. Amazon Has the BEST customer reviews. No doubt. Thanks so much. ;)

The reviews still exist but apparently they got rid of the Questions feature. Could it be the products you looked up didn't get reviewed? It's not shown as Reviews Chic. Next to the stars in fine blue text, you'll see a number with the word ratings next to it. On this page you'll see that there are 87,390 ratings. Click on that to read the reviews.

Yeah, I always check out the reviews. I don't bother with the rave/great reviews. I want the ones where someone is totally peeved off. After reading a few, if there's a constant gripe about a product, it's something you have to consider, before you buy.
I've done a few product reviews. It was a hassle and a half. There were a million and 1 questions on the review form, and you had to answer each one. I gave up several times.

When I want to buy something from another business other than Amazon... and mostly those businesses don't have reviews or they have obviously Biased reviews.. I look at the same item on Amazon to get more balanced reviews... even tho' I'm not buying the item there

I was just on Amazon last night looking for a dining room table. They led me to Crate & Barrel and I would have bought their table but some reviews and pics revealed lots of chipping and a laminate top instead of wood which they said looked cheap.

The reviews and photos were super helpful. Several said they were shocked to see such poor quality from Crate & Barrel and would never shop there again. Seating for 8, was on sale for $750, and offered free "white glove service" (will carry inside and assemble it). Certainly seemed desperate to unload a lot of the damaged ones....but never mentioned any damage.
