What do you think? If it was. Amazon they would not text me. The grammar is much less than perfect and why would Amazon suspend my account because of "suspicious activity" ? The URL is not from Amazon, nor is the phone connected to Amazon.

Scams use fear tactics to con money from people or gain access into personal accounts by threatening a deadline to promote a hasty action by the victim in an attempt to compensate for an alleged loss or to continue services.

I've gotten several of those scary texts about amazon as well as other sites that I use. Some are more obvious scams than others. This is what the internet has become, a fertile ground for scammers, fake news, and misinformation.

I’ve gotten that same Amazon’s scam. Similar wording for Regions bank, (I don’t have a Regions account) Chase (I have that one) and several other accounts. It’s sad that folks are still taken in by these scams, sadder still that it tends to be older folks who are somewhat naive about this kind of thing.

Of course it’s a scam. My favorite are the phone calls that caller identifies as coming from some little Texas town, which I know is baloney. If they’re not even honest about location, why would I trust them with anything else?

Yes, I got one today, also. I knew right away it's a scam.
Very annoying, when so many see right through these scams. Still...
