American Independence Day - July 4th

I found a package of tiny (1.5" long) firecrackers. Fifty years ago, I'd have had no reservations about lighting any. Now I'm afraid of them. What if I can't toss them in time before they go off, or it lands too close? Why as we get older we have more fear of things?

This was an X post, formerly twitter, where Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has no business in Congress, talks about the Declaration of Independence. The people in GA that re-elected her should be proud (sarcasm).

Post:

The average age of the signers of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 was 44 years old, but more than a dozen were 35 or younger:

Thomas Jefferson: 33
John Hancock: 39
James Madison: 25
Alexander Hamilton: 21
James Monroe: 18
Aaron Burr: 20
Paul Revere: 41
George Washington: 44

Paul Revere??? Washington?? Only 2 out of the 8 listed signed it. WOW!
