So, there must be something wrong with American society. What is it? I have traveled here in Alaska and I can tell you 2 things about the real Alaska and perhaps the real America:
1. It's not on the 6 o'clock news
2. It's not on Hollywood films.

Everywhere I go I see a lot of huge trucks pulling huge campers and motorhomes are everywhere traveling the highways at a very high speed. Then while driving through Anchorage, I see several men sleeping or sitting in the park at 10 am.

I wish some professor or research really dealt into this problem; what is wrong with America and why are there so many mass killings? Putting up flowers where the shootings happened and hugging each other might be a nice photo for the 6 o'clock news but it does absolutely nothing to stop the killings.

I'm from Canada and I don't have the answer. We have our own problems. I would love to hear from someone who actually lives and works or is retired in the USA to give up some perspective on this ongoing problem. Please!
