An active shooter has left 'multiple casualties' at Brown University campus Rhode Island

No, I didn't. But I will say that there are many of us in the US who are exhausted with looking like the "wild west" and would do anything to get rid of the politicians who simply offer "thoughts and prayers" after another shooting. I admire Australia for the actions taken after Port Arthur. As a voter in the US, I do my best and don't need to be reminded of how we are falling short in this area. I'm as disgusted as the rest of the world.

And I don't put anyone on "ignore" because I'm always willing to hear what others are thinking, even if I don't agree.

And we all love Bretrick!
You said it better than I did. However I do admit to using the "ignore" button a bit. Some people are just tedious.

I don't think giving the "people" who would open the borders of a sovereign nation and allow people to pour in with no vetting process should also be given the power to disarm it's citizens.

That event hit home for us. Our youngest granddaughter attended a two week science learning project at Brown last summer. We can't be absolutely certain, from images we saw, but actually believe that shooting took place in the same building where she was studying. It certainly gave us as grandparents and her parents a reason to pay attention.
