I've been watching a Netflix series called 13 Reasons Why. In season one (which is all I've watched so far), the issue is teens jockeying for popularity, position and the heartbreak that always attends.
Yesterday, I feel like I was emotionally caught up in the same kind of struggle and came out rather badly in the end. In my effort to speak for someone, I rode roughshod over the feelings of someone else who may or may not have had the intentions that I gave him credit for. The irony is that just prior to that, I'd been saying how I preferred online communications rather than in person, because it gave me time to make sure I didn't put my foot in my mouth. It appears that my 'method' doesn't always work.
I've been feeling bad about how all that went down and while I still stand by the defence I was offering, I think I could have handled the other side of that coin, a whole lot better. So I'd like to apologize to rgp and I'd like to apologize to the crowd here for being a source of hostility. I need to do better and this maybe has been the speed bump of my communications journey, both here and in my day to day. That's all I wanted to say to everyone.
