So the looting, burning, putting people in hospitals, civil chaos, gets put to the side.....for the benign view of 'wow, look at their energy'.
The negative side, the association with BLM, all gets overlooked and replace with the 'pie in the sky' dream of harnessing their energy?
What about coming out that give a viewpoint of lawlessness, criminal actions.......nothing?

I was absolutely against the whole day and liked Mayor Adams' warning to parents. The BLM connection I'm not sure of, I think it was just used; I'd have to know the kids chanting it. Were they white suburban kids as well? I wouldn't be surprised, but I don't know enough and as they were minors I doubt I will.

I know it's easy to get caught up in the actions of others. I don't "approve" the reason they were together and their "idol" is suspect to me. I don't know enough about this event. I only know the surface of it.

Dig deeper and you will be surprised what you will learn.
Yes, there were others there besides blacks. The color isn't an indicator of BLM supporters. Look into the name BLM. You will find the original name was Black Lives Movement. Political parties didn't like that name but thought there would be more sympathy with Black Lives Matter to the everyday 'pedestrian' person that wouldn't see past the name.
 

There were adults arrested for this including a 31 year old or 24 year old. Most the teens were probably in their late teen ie should know better.

Certain crimes or behaviors one should not need a cop, a law, a priest or another to tell them it's wrong. In some respects that's a basic survival skill ie what to avoid. Even 10,000 years ago to survive one had to learn and remember what & where to avoid. Can blame parents or the influencer but in the end on the ground at the scene it was members of the mob that voluntarily decided to act to out in a criminal manner.
