What @StarSong said. How big was your front upstairs bedroom? Or are you saying that you moved what you were going to move into your new house (that is, not furnishing it so tightly)?

In my area, a lot of folks put out items in their driveway or front yard with a FREE sign. I've given away things like that in the past. I had a big nice three dimensional framed map of the United States and it was gone within an hour or so.

I did that with several things. The dog house went the fastest.

You have to be more specific with these people. Next time... mention that the stand is NOT for sale ~ only the plant.
