Animal Abuse

My wife and I lost our dog on Thursday. He was old and had been having health issues for several years. I think the health issues and the meds he needed finally took their toll. He had been abused before we got him. He was a loving dog but always had his issues with men. He will be missed.
As a writer I write about many things. I've written a couple of stories about animal abuse. Here's one about a dog named Buster. It's called Buster's Comeback. <Here's the link>

every day I see stories of animal abuse, it breaks my heart, those who abuse animals need to be locked up.

Thank you for sharing the story of Buster. It is heartbreaking, yet inspiring, when I see a story about an abused animal that has been nursed back to health and has learned to trust.

I've often watched The Dodo on Youtube that covers these stories. There are some horrible stories, but I can only watch them because I know they will turn out well.

It is one crime where I would like to see public flogging of the criminals. I cannot bear to think of helpless animals at the hands of such people.
Dogs and cats were put on earth to provide so much love and company for us and they ask so little in return.
