Annnd the Tumor was...Benign

Woooof, such a situation and as they say crap gets real. My hubby's doctor finally got through and yes his mouth problem was benign. It might come back, but not anything really horrible. There's cancer all through his family, even at a young age, that was really scary. I couldn't even bring myself to think about it never mind make the call.

I mean I know there's many people here who have faced the "C" word and beat it. I give you a standing ovation. I am an ostrich. If somehow MY diagnosis was the "C" word, I wouldn't even want to know. Why am I taking Dilaudid? Oh it's a good vitamin right? Yup, I'll go with that and let me go in my sleep.

I know I have to wear my big girl panties and deal with things from here on out...but dang...I don't want to be a grownup anymore Mr. Wizard...

That's the best news, Fur. You and your DH must be so relieved. It's totally understandable that's you'd be uptight facing the prospect of cancer in the family.
