I've seen messages/warnings about an upcoming W10 update, for the past couple of weeks. This is a big one, and Windows is rolling it out in selected areas, so as not to overburden its servers. It finally became available in our area, so I fired it off last night, about 6PM, and watched some TV while it was doing its thing. It was almost bedtime, nearly 10PM, before it finished, and then, there was still a Restart needed. A thunderstorm woke me this morning, so I fired up the Restart, and it took nearly an hour to complete, while I ate breakfast, etc. This was the longest update I can recall, and I have fast (100MB) service.
This thing is called "Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004", and you can check to see if your computer is scheduled to update, by clicking on the Settings Icon, then clicking on Windows Update.
I haven't noticed noticed any "feature" issues, other than a screen popped up after the restart, giving some "options". However, given how long it took to do this update, you might want to schedule it for a time when you don't want to be online.....or it will fire up at an "inconvenient" time.
