Another Friggin' birthday coming up...

I look forward to every birthday I have..........nice gift, card from my wife and Prime Rib Dinner at our favorite restaurant. Same thing happens for her birthday.

Hope you have a good one, enjoy! Welcome to the forum!

I ignore the day like it's any other. That's what works for me. Though I have unhappy memories of birthdays back to childhood. So the heck with them.

I hit the big 60 back in July. It sure sounds a lot older than 59. I guess I will be saying the same thing when I reach 70............that is if I do. ;)

Chuckie, If you stop having them, you know what THAT means. So, grit your teeth, grin and bear it.
Good luck and welcome to our forum.

Well said, and something to remember!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, and if you followed the original link, you would've gleaned my complaint was more tongue in cheek than anything else...

I can't slam dunk a basketball anymore, but baby, I can still play...for that, I'm very grateful.

Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Chuck! Enjoy!! I just turned 70 last month and my brother 85 a couple of weeks ago. And he and his wife canned and put up over 200 quarts of tomato juice and dried every apple on their tree. When I called him on his birthday he was fixing a broken washer. He is a workalcholic and thinks working is fun. The Dr. told him 5 years ago he had a brain tumor and maybe had 3-6 months. He took off 3 months to see everyone and said he never was so bored. I on the other hand am a I do it if I need to person, and if it suits me it's good enough! Your just a youngster yet. The older we get the more we appreciate life in our own way!
