Another great song from the 60s

The slightly smoky voice of a 17-year-old in 1967, backed by a 40-piece orchestra in a “Wall of Sound” arrangement -- that became a UK number one hit.

A young Kiki Dee’s voice is in this songs backing vocals.

I think the song was recorded and released by three different artists, within about 6 months of each other.

a small sad story about Crosby Stills & Nash....

On a YT video , a comentator stated that in her youth her boyfriends' very rich parents paid for CSN to play at his 30th Birthday Party, where she and her friends had a wonderful time never to be forgotten.. she then goes on to state that she's now in her 70's and all her friends have died, and she's the only one left with the memories... :(

Sobering thought !
I have similar thoughts as most of my friends are no longer with us.
