Another Military Helicopter Went Down..This Time Five Soldiers Were Killed

That helicopter went down during what was called a routine flight, but never should have been airborne due to the treacherous weather. This is the third deadly crash of a military helicopter in less than a year. According to a news report, a total of 19 soldiers have been killed in these crashes. ABC news video report included.

After I left Vietnam, I swore I would never get in a helicopter again. Over there, they sometimes flew us when we were being moved. They flew low enough that the VC and the NVA could reach us with their on the ground machine guns and of course, artillery. I couldn’t wait to get out of those things.
