Anti-Body Levels Down

I heard on the radio news a couple of days ago that the
antibodies count was down in older people due to the
long gap between the initial vaccination and the booster.

The is no supporting evidence to this online though there
are reports that the count is down, but they don't give any
reason for this.

I get my second one on Sunday afternoon, exactly 12 weeks
after the first, the Doctors Surgery who booked me in, said
that many people were running over that time period.

Mike.

Not surprising. It's hard to understand why countries opted to change the timing from the clinical trial protocol of 3-4 weeks between shots to 12 weeks. That policy may require people to get boosters sooner rather than later.

There must be a shortage of vaccine in any area that makes people wait 12 weeks for the 2nd shot. That would make me wonder if the first shot is of any real help, since the protocol seems to be 3 or 4 weeks to get the 2nd shot. This may be a contributing factor in any future "spikes".

Agreed. I think the first vaccine likely helps some, but the combo of 12 weeks apart may not be as effective as the original 3-4 week protocols.

The reason that the gap was increased was because
Boris and his gang wanted to get as many people on
the list of being vaccinated with the first one, than any
other country in the World, they did this so well, that the
Europeans got upset about it and it got all Political.

They claim that the scientists said it would be beneficial
in the long run, but we will see, some think that the gap
has allowed the virus to build up immunity to the power
of the vaccine so, the so-called variations could be put
to this lengthened period, but the scientists were just
doing as they were told.

There could even be another surge, again because of the
gap in administering the vaccine.
