I just found my camera 'stem card' ? How do I download pics from there to my laptop ? I used to know how, but damn I forgot. I want to send a few through email, but first I have to get them in here.

I get the file, I get the import page. But I get no choice/place to attach & send them. Why do they make it so difficult to do ?

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a SIM card?? I have a Canon camera that has an SD card. I use an adapter to plug it into a USB port

OK, SIM card.......for mine, I can just plug the card into the side of the lap-top.

Once there, I can 'download'? /import ? them easily enough to my computer, view them etc. How do I get them to my email, so that i can send them on to others ?

I want to sell a couple of motorcycles, and of course everyone wants pictures.

What phone do you have?
I phone or Android? SIM card has nothing to do with downloading photos. SIM cards are provided by your provider. I know what you are talking about. You don't have a destination. I don't know if you are talking about an SD card.
So then. For a Samsung which I have.
You attach your charger cable to your cell phone or camera and plug it into your computer via your USB port. You get a message asking you if you will allow access to your computer from your phone. Then you see your phone listed. You click on it. Then click on Card or Camera. Then click on DCIM. All your picture files should show up.You click on the picture you want to send. Then you download it to a folder for access. I always save it to the desktop. Now that it's on the desktop you open your email program and attach it to your mail program and send it as an attachment .
This sounds more complicated than it is.
You can also access your phone camera by clicking on My Computer. All your connected accessories will show up.

Oops. I just noticed something. You said you just plug the card into a slot on your computer.

So then you get the import page? Well just click on the import and it should show all the pictures on the card. Then select the picture and download it to your computer desktop first.
Then open your e-mail program and use the attachment feature to send it.
You should also resize the picture for sending.
I'm sending a picture of my screen accessing my Fuji camera card which I plug into a slot on my computer.

Well that's simple. You open your email program and send it as an attachment. Notice where it says attachments on the e mail program. And then you browse for the file which is the picture.Mail.JPG
