I have been drinking C/R for several yeas now. I don't over do it, [not saying that I never have] :)...but anyway...

I have noticed that ever since they started making the different 'flavors'? Apple, Caramel , Vanilla ,...etc. The regular Crown seems to be loosing it's rich color & acquiring a milder taste.

Anyone else Notice ?

Have to say that the Vanilla is tasty...but I prefer the "old" darker brown , stronger taste regular Crown.....

noticed that a while back

but once I got into Glenmorangie, I no longer notice much about C/R

Love my CR and do like the vanilla. Thats all I buy unless my sister visits and she has to have her Jack. I send it back home with her as I cannot stand Jack. CR or nothing for me! Have not noticed the regular CR having a different taste but I don't drink everyday and would not notice the difference.

Not a drinker now but I must admit the Texas Mesquite sounds interesting. In the 'old' days my drink was Rum (Bacardi light) and Coke. Now, if I were to partake, I'm thinking Cognac (Hennessy) would be my choice? Cheers! Don...
