Any Issues Getting Out and About.

Australia and New Zealand did it correctly, right from the start. Also they didn’t dilly dally around with their crackdowns.

Some cities are giving permission for creating expanded patio seating for restaurants.

JMO, banks and stores now have an good excuse to have shorter hours. How much retail business did they do in evenings.

Will not bother going out in the evening or on Sunday's, most places closed by then

With the exception of those stores and places stupidly still requiring masks, we're free as a bird. I say stupidly because few people are now wearing them any other time or place, making their utility at one particular point rather moot.
,
No problem getting out here. But I don't do much anyway, shopping or hair appointments. In May, I have a dental appointment. Racing season opened and I see pictures of that on fakebook. I don't think movie theaters are open yet but not sure. The one near me is closed down for good I think.

Never did much going out to public events. I miss the park's most of all, less crowded

Ah yes I forgot to mention that also. Those hospitality venues which are allowed to open must close at 9pm...here

Makes one wonder if hotel are accepting after hours as we'll. Also one can make it back on the fuel to get there, if not the fuel will be higher away from my local area

Here, Walmart and WellsFargo are the only two big name businesses. Walmart hasn't cut their open hours but they have gone to 100% self-service checkout. WellsFargo OTOH has shut down their only drive-through location which had 5 lanes that were usually pretty busy, going to walk-in only. I think these changes have more to do with cutting costs / increasing profits, and routing any future effect from a $15/hour or higher minimum wage if that ever gets resurrected than it does with the Wuhan / COVID sickness, but the current worrisome atmosphere has provided the perfect excuse for making such changes.

We can grocery and pharmacy shop but you need a mask to get in. Restaurants are take-out only. I can get my tires changed on my car on Wed. No malls open either so ordering is online or curb side (if the store has it). We go for walks outside everyday and keep our distance. I doubt we will travel on a plane this year. Large gatherings are out too.

There are a few restaurants open, dine-in, the coffee shop is open. I've been in all of them at one time or another over the past month or so with no mask on but probably more than 50% of their customers are wearing a mask. No one has ever said a word to me, staff or customer, or anyone else not wearing a mask for that matter, at any of those places.

Agreed, that a lot of business use the pause to re-tool. A local bank were in every supermarket and have since been removed forcing many to go a longer distances to do their banking...

That is great, downtown signs everywhere warning, a fine if not wearing a masks, here in parts of northern CA

Where is that taking place? I did have car service during this and just needed to we're a mask it was done as an appointment and the waiting room was not crowded at all. I could be taken home and picked up later. This was in Dublin CA

Area banks only open until 3 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. Closed on Saturday. Their drive up ATM machine isn't working; we've tried all weekend. It worked today. That's so unlike that bank.

Walmart, department and grocery stores still require masks. It is sad to see businesses that have closed down for good.

At times I feel like I'm in a Twilight Zone episode. Streets aren't as congested... which is good. All in all, I have no complaints as long as I protect myself and others by keeping my distance and wearing my mask.

I live in Pickering Ontario and car stuff is essential service. I will drop off and pick up when done.

So everything is open in your area?
Yeah pretty much, a lot of businesses have closed because of COVID. If vaccinated you don’t have to wear a mask outside. Strange traveling down the interstate there were signs encouraging everyone to wear a mask
