Starsong's post in Hollys thread about man stabbing himself separating hamburgers brought to mind this freak accident.

On route 22 west bound from Allentown PA. there is a downhill section followed by a long flat stretch. A tractor trailer driver had pulled off to the side of the road to go into the field to relieve himself.

As he was returning to his truck another tractor trailer was passing the parked truck. Just as he cleared that truck the large heavy spare tire under his trailer bounced out of the carrier traveled to exactly where the driver was returning, hit & killed him.

In San Diego, April 2021, a lady by the name of Taylor Kahle, 29, was killed around 7:45 pm when an apparently suicidal man jumped from an East Village parking structure and landed on her. Ms Kahle was on 2nd date with a man she met online. The two were just strolling along a sidewalk at the time.
 
Long time ago I read a story about a pair out on a canoe and one of them was killed by a falling tree that hit him square on the top of his head, instant death.
After investigating the incident they found what was left of the fallen tree and it had been chewed by a beaver.
 
The owner of one of my top accounts was in his attic and fell through the attic opening to the room below. He was killed instantly. He was in his 60's. It was quite shocking and sad.

Additionally, my Hubby's father, who was in his early 70's, was doing work on the roof of his house. He fell off, landed on the driveway and was also killed instantly. It was incredibly tragic.
 
Several years ago, a woman was driving on I-95 when a chunk of concrete broke loose from the underside of an overpass, went through her windshield, and killed her. šŸ˜¢
