Any strange coincidences in your life?

Yep, that's me
As a Navy reservist, I worked in department 349 at North American Aviation. When I began my active duty, I was assigned to the USS Diodon, SS349.

I was in Trier, Germany with my wife, waiting to cross the road. As the lights turned red the first vehicle to pull up at the lights was our son;s motorcycle.

We had both decided, entirely independently, to go there on holiday!

Weird isn't it when something like this happens. We were in Yosemite valley and parked in the parking lot of the little shopping area. We walked past a couple and a park ranger who was trying to pick the lock on their Volvo trunk. Apparently, they had locked their keys inside. We had a Volvo back home and I had the key in my pocket. So, just for the heck of it, I tried it and it worked. Boy, were they happy.

I once, about ten years ago, had a lottery ticket with every number one more than the winning ticket that week. I was not happy!

My oldest sons wedding,I ride to the church with him in his 06 Ford Escape with the plan I would drive anyone that needed a ride to the reception and his car would be there since he would be in the limo with the bridal party...
Weddings over,I go out to the car and unlock it,put the key in,noticing it seems very clean for them, his car is usually a pit! The key wouldn't turn so I got out to try and find someone for a ride and realized it wasn't his car!Totally identical but it had N.Y. plates and his were N.J.
He was quite surprised that his key unlocked it!

Years ago, I lived in Queens NYC. On 69th Road, for about 2 years. 20 years goes by. I'm working as a psych nurse in a hospital IN Pennsylvania. I was talking to one of the pts. He said he lived in NYC. Guess where he lived- ON 69th Road Queens. The doctor said, "Hey, I lived on 69th Road". Turns out we lived, in NYC, at the same time for a year, about a hundred feet from one another. The pt. worked in the grocery store I used to shop in.

We were three friends and neighbors when one of the women was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Within a day or two one of her daughters came and whisked her away to another state. She passed away in November. Just the other day the other neighbor and I were sitting on my deck and we were feeling so sorry that we didn't have a chance to be with our friend nor be able to say goodbye like we wanted to. About an hour later my friend comes knocking on my door. When she went home there was a message on her Facebook from the woman who passed away's daughter apologizing for taking her mother away so abruptly. We didn't know this daughter so why did she contact us the very same day we were talking about what happened?

When I was in High School (a long time ago) a girl in my class asked if I wanted to go on a double date with her and her boyfriend. I said yes and my boyfriend and I went on the date. It turned out that the boy she was dating was my cousin who I hadn't seen in over 10yrs since his family had moved far away from us after his father,my Uncle had passed away.. From that day until today we still keep in contact with each other. If it wasn't for that date we probably would never have seen each other again.
