Gary Sinise, "Lieutenat Dan" in the film Forest Gump grew up round the corner from me but I never had contact with him as he was much younger. My mom went to school with actress Lola Albright and lived very near to actor Jessie White. I recall mom saying Jessie White was very poor and dressed in rags. My dad was on a twin prop commercial plane with Elizabeth Taylor when it lost power in both engines and nose dived before it regained power and landed safely.

Not famous as in actress or movie star famous but a friends daughter walked all the way across Canada.
My brother came in first place in long distance biking in all of Canada for his age group.
Neither people are considered famous but certainly admired and respected by ‘me.’

I watched a YouTube video of George Goeble when he was on Carson one night. He sat beside Dean Martin and it was hilarious. George spoke about his time flying and being an instructor (I think). Anyway, you have to check out the YouTube video.

Here you go. Check this out:

My sister in law is kin to Kenny Loggins.

That's about as close as I can get, and that's stretchin it. (She was adopted)

Well, as a young musician back in the 70's, I had to spend a day at the TV studio for publicity photos with Debbie Reynolds, George Burns & the cast of "Green Acres."
I was a very shy 15-year-old & before the photo with Ms. Reynolds, she grabbed my arm, put it around her & said, "You NEVER stand next to a beautiful woman without touching her!"
Then, before the photos with the Green Acres cast, I wandered around the studio & saw that huge pig. I've always loved animals & preferred their company to people, so I sat on the floor & played with him for almost an hour before the photographer came in & said, "Hey..we've been looking for you for an hour...time is very expensive around here."

When I was 19, I drove to Las Vegas with friends. We arrived at 2am & were strolling in the Ceasar's Palace casino. I saw Lorne Greene & George Burns chatting in front of the slot machines. I said, "Hi." Just then, two young girls walked up to them & one of them said, "Ooooh George, you're so sexy." George smiled, then Lorne said, "Hey...what about me?" They just looked at him & shrugged. Then Lorne said to me, "Well...some got it & some don't."

My family was having brunch at a swanky hotel. I recognized a Red Rolls Royce parked in front. My neice was 9 yrs old at the time & she was a big fan of Mr. T; she never missed "The A Team." He was sitting out on the patio area. I told her not to bother him but she really wanted to meet him. He was really nice; he chatted with her for 15 minutes & autographed a napkin for her. She was really thrilled.

Around '78 when "Starsky & Hutch" was a very popular show, my date & I were having dinner in a rather cheap coffee shop. David Soul walked in, wearing the same clothes he wore on the show - that short brown jacket & faded jeans. My date really liked him & she just had to have an autograph. He was nice - he wrote on a napkin, "Much joy, Andrea."

Around '83, I stopped at a health food store on my lunch break. I recognized Dennis Weaver parked next to me, having his lunch. He was sorta slumped down in the driver's seat, probably hoping he wouldn't be recognized. Two teenage girls recognized him anyway & started screeching & giggling. He looked annoyed & handed them a pre-autographed piece of paper. After they were through gushing, they walked away & he looked at me & started laughing. I said, "You think you can just sit there snacking & girls won't bother you?" He said, "I shoulda known better."

My great-aunt was married to one of the Hatfield boys (of Hatfield and McCoy fame).

A cousin of my grandfather's became a Hollywood actor, never first-billed, but was in a slew of movies.

I ran into Hulk Hogan once. I mean RAN into him and landed on my rear end. I probably had some of his DNA on me....LOL.

I slept in a bed that Arthur Godfrey had slept in. I don't even want to know what HE left behind.

You never know I’ve just sent away to get my DNA done so here’s hoping I’ve got some rich relatives some where in the world after all one of those emails I keep, getting letting me know I’ve got a $$$$$ inheritance might just be true :giggle:

My cousin did some ancestry on Jimmy Kimmel. He was interested because Jimmy's Uncle Frank and cousin Sal have the same first and last names of my Dad and my brother. I was also born and Raised in the same neighborhood as Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bobby Rydell. I met them all and Bobby even married a classmate of my Sister's. My Mom even got the chance to meet Dean Martin and he even gave her a Kiss.
